Membership Levels
Life Membership Plans Details
Life Membership is for doctors with advanced qualifications and experience in respiratory medicine. It recognizes specialists dedicated to chest and respiratory care.
Eligibility Criteria:
- DM, MD, DNB or Diploma in Respiratory Medicine.
- MD in Internal Medicine working as Chest Physician.
- MD/DNB in Pediatrics with interest in respiratory diseases.
- MCh/DNB in Cardiothoracic or Thoracic Surgery.
- MBBS with 3 years’ experience in chest, allergy, or sleep medicine.
Associate Membership Plans Details
Associate Membership is for medical graduates and postgraduates who are pursuing advanced studies but are not yet eligible for full membership
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS degree holders who are PG students in Medicine or Surgery.
- Doctors with a PG Degree/Diploma not eligible for full membership.
Affiliate Life Membership Plans Details
Life Membership is for doctors with advanced qualifications and experience in respiratory medicine. It recognizes specialists dedicated to chest and respiratory care.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Those who have an Allied Health Science Degree B.Sc., M.Sc. or at least a 2-year diploma in Respiratory therapy/technology or Critical care therapy / technology
- Those who have an Allied Health Science B.Sc., M.Sc. or at least a 2-year diploma in Nursing or other Allied Science programs such as Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Nutrition etc. Who specialize or have an interest in Respiratory healthcare;
- Those whose work predominantly involves Respiratory healthcare and has worked in this capacity for at least 3 years, under a Life member of the ICS, who can attest their work experience;
- Respiratory Scientists with a Ph.D. in any branch of science
